Works with 4640 Displays and with Gen 4 CommandCenter™ 4600 Monitors factory built into John Deere vehicles

NOTE: Although they appear the same and can replace each other, Gen 4 CommandCenter™ Displays have a higher quality panel than the extened monitors. A PFA number in the item description denotes the monitor from a CommandCenter™ --- Note- it appears that Deere at some point around 2019 or 2020 started putting the cheaper displays on the armrest as well. Higher quality aremrest panels have the speaker in the top right corner of the casing. The earlier higher quality armrest displays are much more prone to a  bubbled/leaking touchscreen until repaired.

A: No, the extended monitor MUST match model and generation of display it's attached to. G5Plus Displays only work with G5 Extended Monitors

Q: Does John Deere still make new Gen 4 Extend Monitors?
A: Production of retail units of new Gen 4 Extend Monitors ended June 2025, sales through parts will continue to my knowledge, however price has increased substantially

Q: Can a Gen 4 Extend Monitor and 4600 CommandCenter™ Display be used interchangeably 
A: Yes, Extend monitors can replace 4600 armrest displays and 4600 armrest displays can be put on cornerposts to be used as extend monitors
